My payments were up to date with HSBC.I had an accident in February and the vehicle was a total loss.

The insurance company paid them in March and the Gap Coverage company I had paid them in May of 2010. They claim that I am 3 months late on my payments and now are reporting negatively against my credit. I call them on numerous times to determine where exactly the comunication break down is and have been hung up on twice! This is unbelievably frustrating.

You would think that if you call a company to inform them that a mistake has been made somewhere, with an attitude and willingness to work out a solution they would work with you.

They simply don't.And refuse to.
